Blackbutt Battens

Modinex supplies Blackbutt battens in widths ranging from 8mm up to 140mm. Our battens are available in a variety of profiles, including square, rectangular and specialised shapes.

The size of Blackbutt battens depends on the application. Smaller battens of 8mm-12mm provide greater intricacy, but the detail is often lost when they’re installed on a large scale. On the other hand, wide battens are best suited to commercial and large-scale applications, where they provide incredible depth.

We also recommend specifying Blackbutt battens according to interior and exterior applications. Wider batten sizes of 18mm and up are recommended for outdoor use. Battens with smaller dimensions are better suited for indoor installations.
