Timber Cladding, Panelling and Decking Solutions

We’ve chosen three commercial applications to showcase how our building solutions were used in external cladding and interior wall cladding achieving striking results.

To fulfil the brief, the timber decking at the Gold Coast’s Raddison Resort needed to be both eye-catching and extremely practical.

Functionality, durability and operational health and safety were key considerations during the planning stages. There was also a practical requirement for a ramped section to allow access to the upper level and an accessible storage facility.

We used Latitudes Duro Decking in stunning walnut. The result is 160 square metres of high impact decking with full-length steps, working in perfect harmony with the adjacent vegetation and the resort’s pool and relaxation area.

Snap Fitness wanted us to completely re-imagine their interior to reflect their clientele’s lifestyle in Brisbane’s upmarket suburb of Clayfield. We suggested Newport Cladding as a feature wall in stunning Spotted Gum. The result is a sleek, contemporary finish that’s a world away from the typical mirror-filled gym interior. The use of timber for the internal wall cladding also provides warmth and reinforces the natural, healthy lifestyle of Snap Fitness’ members. Spotted Gum is a hardwood timber, it’s durability made it a great match for the well-frequented suburban gym. It is perfectly suited to commercial projects where there is a constant flow of visitors, or activity.

Everything about the Beenleigh Rum Distillery project was unique. The project vision sought a modern look to ‘house’ the historic timeline with the handcrafted tradition of rum-making inside. The Distillery is heritage-listed so our solution needed to be tasteful. With its clean lines and tongue and groove profiles, Urbanline’s Newport Cladding in Ironbark gave a contemporary look with a respectful nod to the red colour tones of rum barrels and vats. We finished the exterior cladding in Cutek Clear to give it longevity and ensure maintenance was kept to a minimum.
